Don’t sort this column!! Ask Sarah first

Where the time goes

Most organisations of 30 to 300 people run on a few critical spreadsheets, an inbox full of approvals and a lot of copy and paste. Here’s what changes.

Common manual processes and what replaces them
What happens nowWhat we build instead
One spreadsheet runs the business and only one person really understands it.A proper app with permissions, history and validation, so nobody can break it by sorting a column.
Staff copy details from emails into Excel, then into another system.Power Automate picks up the email or form and creates the record for you.
Approvals get chased by email and lost in someone’s inbox.Approvals in Teams and Outlook, with reminders and an audit trail.
Letters, quotes and reports are assembled by copy and paste.Documents generated from your data and your templates in a click.
An old Access database nobody dares to touch.Rebuilt on Microsoft 365, documented and supported.

What we do

Start with one spreadsheet. If it works for you, we can automate more and look after all of it.

Spreadsheet rescue

Pick the spreadsheet your business can’t run without. We rebuild it as a Power App with proper data, permissions and history behind it, and move your existing records across.

Fixed price, agreed before we start.

What’s included

  • A review of how the spreadsheet is really used
  • A Power App built in your tenant
  • Your existing data migrated and cleaned
  • Training for your team and written documentation
  • 30 days of fixes after go-live

Process automation

Approvals, intake, reminders, document generation and hand-offs between systems, built with Power Automate so work moves without someone chasing it.

  • Leave, purchase and invoice approvals in Teams
  • Emails and forms turned into structured records
  • Letters, quotes and reports generated from templates

Managed automation

We look after your apps and flows month to month: monitoring, fixes, changes as the business changes, and governance of your Power Platform environment.

  • Monitoring and alerts for failed flows
  • Change hours each month for improvements
  • Environment, security and licence housekeeping

How a project runs

Small, fixed steps. You know the price before each one starts.

  1. Intro call

Thirty minutes on what’s slowing your team down and whether automation is the right fix.

    Free
  2. Assessment

We map one process, check your licences and environment, and give you a fixed quote.

    Fixed fee
  3. Build

We build in your tenant in short cycles, with your team testing as we go. If the pilot doesn’t do what we agreed in writing, you don’t pay.

    Fixed price
  4. Run and improve

Ongoing support keeps everything working and lets you keep adding to it.

How we build

The standards a good internal IT team would hold us to.

In your tenant, owned by you
Everything lives in your Microsoft 365, under accounts you control. If you stop working with us, it keeps running and you keep all of it.
Governed from day one
Separate development and production environments, packaged solutions instead of loose apps, data loss prevention policies and service accounts instead of someone’s personal login.
Low-code first
Power Platform by default, because your team can understand and extend it. Custom code only where it clearly pays for itself.
Straight about licensing
We design around the licences you already pay for, and tell you up front if something needs premium Power Platform licences and what that costs.

Who you’ll work with

Lepton Systems is run by Mahir, a Power Platform developer with a background in computer science and information systems. He builds and maintains apps and automations in an Australian Government environment, where security, documentation and change control aren’t optional.

Lepton Systems brings that same discipline to organisations that need it but can’t justify a full-time developer.

Based in south-west Sydney and working with clients across Australia, mostly remotely over Teams.

Questions

Will we need extra Microsoft licences?

Often not. Many apps and flows run on the Microsoft 365 licences you already have, using SharePoint and standard connectors. Dataverse and premium connectors need Power Apps or Power Automate licences. We check this during the assessment and tell you the cost before you commit.

Who owns what you build?

You do. Everything is built in your Microsoft 365 tenant, under accounts you control, and documented. If you stop working with us, it keeps running and you keep all of it.

Can you connect to our other systems?

Usually. Power Automate has connectors for many common business systems, and where there isn’t one we can often use the system’s API. We confirm what’s possible during the assessment.

Do you work on-site?

Mostly remotely, over Teams. For Sydney clients we can run an on-site workshop at the start of a project if it helps.

What happens if you’re unavailable?

Solutions are packaged, version-controlled and documented so another Power Platform developer could pick them up. Support plans include agreed response times for anything that breaks.

What does ongoing support cover?

Monitoring for failed flows, fixes, small changes as your process evolves, connector and licensing updates, and keeping your environments tidy and governed. You get a short monthly report of what changed.
